Now hit the switch! It's alive! It's alive! It's the Flavour of the Week!!!

And for those of you who had the privilege of reading last week's edition, this is now being written upon a brand spanking new keyboard that is so shiny and free of junk that accumulates with in the nooks and crannies of the keys. Being that I do know a bit about computers I tore my old keyboard apart and set down to trach down the problem. Things were cleaned and dusted and broken bits of circiutry were investigated and then all was put back together as it was though the dust and junk were left out. The keyboard then worked remarkably well for two days and the then G and the B again failed soon to be followed by the F and H. It was bad enough trying to work around the G and B issue without adding additional letters to the list...

And so I had had enough. Rummaging through the boxes of ancient computer equipment I could not find a USB keyboard nor could I find an adapter that would breath life into an ancient bit of hardware. So I had had enough and this I know I've said before but I thought it was worth repeating so I did so. The first place I checked had keyboards but either what I had already or with features I did not need at prices I did not wish to pay. So off I go back toward whence I came to make a second stop at a place that I knew would be a bit more expensive but should have exactly what I wanted. So into the store I went to hopefully end my search. I looked high and low for the section that contained the keyboards, which I did find without asking for assistance. There they were - bright shiny new keyboards in 9 different models. Most were wireless (not what I wanted) or came with options I did not require (things I didn't need) or had a plug that I could not use (what I already had)...

And then the clouds part and the sun peaked through to illuminate my path. And there is was before my eyes a keyboard with a USB connector that wasn't wireless, didn't come with a mouse, or didn't have an ergonomic shape - a plain keyboard with a USB connector. My heart sang with joy as I beheld a such a sight. But there were none on the shelf. So then I asked for help. And after a check of what was in inventory it was discovered that indeed there was one remaining keyboard that I absolutely had to have in a box that had been sealed at the factory and had never felt the gentle touch of a human's hand...

And then home my newest device and I traveled. And then I stripped it down to its birthday suit removing all the clothing that had kept its gorgeous body hidden. And the USB plug was plugged and the on button pushed and tiny green lights appeared upon its body and all was well...

And so ends this tale...
